Mon, January 19, 2004 - 7:04 AMthe sport scene is a little flat in this town lately...
Cowboys - uh...one and out in the playoffs, buddy.
Stars - seriously under producing.
Mavs - Will they even make the playoffs?
Rangers - ugh. don't get me started there... -

Wed, January 28, 2004 - 7:01 PMUnless you dig on cowboy boots (okay, I confess I do have two pair in my closet) there's not much culture to talk about here. D/FW doesn't have much in the way of unique character anymore. If you like national chain stores, this is totally where it's at. Otherwise, would the last freak in Dallas please turn out the blacklight on your way to greener havens. Dear lord, I may be that last freak...

Wed, January 28, 2004 - 9:59 PMPublic Schools are excellent in some of the suburbs or Dallas and Dallas has a few very good private schools. Flower Mound High School(Flower mound is about 15 miles north of Dallas) where I attended and graduated from in 2002 had 2 kids in a class of 424 attend Princeton. And probably 3 other ivy leaguers.
and for Texas, if you dont like the weather...fuck it...wait a few days it will be completely different.
